Dave Balliett Memorial at Centennial Field
Dedicated at an Augusta Wisconsin Football Game

David Balliett has been a bus driver in the Augusta Area School district for many years and a local business owner. Dave has announced the home football games for many years. Dave is a member of the Augusta Lions Club and overall booster of the community. Dave has also been a driving force in the Augusta Bean and Bacon Days celebration and its companion Augusta Wisconsin Car Show
The Lions Club approached the school board about placing a permanent marker/memorial near the football field thanking Dave for his many years of service announcing football games. Dave was surprised at the home football game September 7th 2012 as the memorial was dedicated. Dave was unaware of this honor prior to the event.
Hooray for Dave Balliett - thank you for your community service. Dave is a member of the community forever
